Third Annual Rock For Reclaimed Music Festival
Rock for Reclaimed is an award winning Charity Music Festival benefitting Reclaimed Project and St. Lillian Academy. After two successful years, Rock for Reclaimed has raised over $100,000 for charity and has sold over 2000 tickets, leaving its mark on the Baton Rouge and LSU community. This year we intend to improve even further and need your help to make that happen.
Rock for Reclaimed hosts local and national talent to raise awareness and funds for charity, while simultaneously uniting the community through a love of live music.
Our Causes:
Reclaimed
Reclaimed Project is a non-profit organization based out of Mississippi whose goal is to serve orphans and vulnerable children in Sub-Saharan Africa through the development of sustainable ministries in local communities. They also generate opportunities for a sustainable income through the creation of handmade traditional African products. The fruits of their labor are then sold in local African markets, as well as in U.S. stores and through the online Reclaimed Marketplace. The profits of these sales support their local orphan care centers, assissting in building a strong future for the most vulnerable children. Reclaimed Project also functions within the United States with the same goal of serving orphans and vulnerable children through community development. Finally, Reclaimed Project provides college students with the opportunity to go to Africa and serve on mission trips and spend a summer of service with orphans and their caregivers in Lesotho, Africa.
St. Lillian Academy
At St. Lillian Academy, a faith-based school founded by professionals and parents, children with communication and learning challenges have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and enjoy rewarding lives as independent and engaged members of our community. St Lillian Academy educates a wide range of students with a variety of diagnoses, such as down syndrome, developmental delay, speech and language delay, autistic spectrum disorder, apraxia, chromosomal abnormality, cerebral palsy, sensory processing disorder, and ADHD. The mission of St Lillian Academy is to provide a measurably effective education for students who have communication and learning challenges with a goal of ensuring that their students maximize their futures and become productive, contributing members of our community.
